Monday Chit Chat
Yes, I did some more rainbow doily crochet. This one I like much better! I designed it saturday, when I sat next to my little sick ckicky all day. (Yes, sick AGAIN). I love this and you?
I have a million things to do, but I just can't help myself. Sometimes I just need to design something new. Although I can think of lots of 'better' things to do, I cannot imagine anything BETTER than THIS...
I had to make some more Crochet Coasters for the Sunday Market next sunday. They tend to keep making me happy, because they're so pretty. And I always feel like making more in different colors.
I just made my first post for the Craft Cafe, a series on the lovely Heart Handmade UK blog that I contribute to. You'll have to be patient, since it's going to be published in August... But I will let you know by then.
Well, a short one this monday. It was so stormy and rainy today, but now the sun is shining! Oh how I love Summer!! Have a hooky day!
I love those doily's.... They make me happy!
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice to hear! Be happy!!
DeleteI must agree with you, I do find this color combo better than what you showed us before.
ReplyDeleteI must make a sample of it. love the sunshine that it brings.
Take a breather and a cup of coffee, things will flow easier :o)
Yes, it is better. It's the purple. I always struggle with purple. That's why I almost never use it... Have fun! I'm totally relaxed now btw.
DeleteI have made my sample from looking at your photo, will blog it today.
DeleteSomething odd with my colors, but just had to try it.
Will work perfectly outside in someones garden
or in a small cabin for kids.
Place it on a small table and put a vase of wild flowers on it.
Would make a great photo by the way ;o)
Have a nice day.
I think it's the pointy edges which make this doily look so appealing - though I did like the other one too! I do love the aqua points against the purple!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful colors. Always!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and cheerful colors after stormy and rainy day in Cracow :) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome. Hope summer will stop by your house soon!
DeleteLovely!!
ReplyDeleteI love the petals on your doily! So unique!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are a color genius, and my crochet hero! I WILL be buying patterns in a few days! Can't get enough just by looking at pics of all the amazing colors and creations! I need to make these lovely ideas of yours!! I, by the way, have a situation where my 13 year old daughter and her friends keep setting beverages on precious, real, unpainted, (only stained) wood tables! They are ruining them. I want to protect them with doilies and coasters made from the patterns in your shop.
ReplyDeleteHah! Have I got some good news for you! I'm working on a new coaster tutorial! I've actually just taken all the pictures. And thanks for the BIG compliment. You made my day!
DeleteSo nice!!!
ReplyDeletePrachtig zijn ze, en de kleurencombi is super!
ReplyDeleteGroetjes en fijne dag, Mariken
Have a hooky day too ! Very nice and lovely work !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love rainbows and try to include them in all of my work. When a Color is missing it just doesn't feel right. :)
ReplyDeleteI usually can live without purple and even green, but it does feel nice and complete like this. That's true!
DeleteWOW I just love your blog. I have just found you, we recently moved from the UK to Spain and I now have lots of time on my hands, and hope to spend many hours of it with a hook or two!. I have posted a link to your blog on my own blog as many of my friends are also interested in Crochet
ReplyDeleteHi and welcome! Love to have some new visitors here! Thanks for the compliments and the publicity. it's very much appreciated!
DeleteI colori vivaci che utilizzi ricordano proprio il sole, brava!
