Crochet Confetti Pattern

So, it's kind of a time consuming way of making confetti, but non the less, very durable and fun! Just think how lovely this luxury confetti would look on a pretty set party table, or coffee table. Or how it would brighten up your windowsill or just your pictures... This is how you make them. It's an easy and very small project.

Just make a magic circle, chain 1 and make 7 single crochets (UK double crochet) in the ring.

Use your scraps. I use mercerized cotton (also available in the Color 'n Cream Shop) and a 3,5 mm hook. Once you've made the sc's, pull the beginning of your yarn to close the circle. Now cut the end of the yarn and pull it through.

Now, look at the pictures closely how to join. If you do it this way, it's almost invisible where you've started.

Now just finish off and you are done!! Tadaaaah!!! Isn't it lovely in it's simpleness??

Let's PARTY!!!! Have a festive day!

  5. I am merrily making your Flower Square VI blanket in subtle greens, mocha and burnt gold with white petals. It is for a dear friend's 60th birthday and so consequently crocheting 60 squares! They are so pretty and I have had so many compliments already....now just to keep it a secret until her birthday!! Thank you for such an enjoyable tutorial.

  7. Leuk hoor! Ik heb er ook ooit een bergje gehaakt maar dan met stokjes dus iets groter. Ik heb ze in een envelop gedaan en naar een zieke gestuurd met een kaartje.
